How do I request a proposal?
To request a proposal, or an audit of your current plan's administration and compliance, please contact us. There is no cost to obtain a proposal, nor any obligation to engage our services. During the process of compiling the data for the proposal, there will be a lot of confidential information exchanged between your company and ours.
Given the confidential nature of this information, we will ask you to agree not to disclose or transfer any information to outside sources. Just as the information you submit to us is to be considered private and confidential, so too are the innovative plan management services and materials available through Great Lakes Risk Management. We will use your information exclusively for the purpose of meeting your goals and objectives in the proposal process, and/or as directed by your company.

Most carriers pay your Broker/Agent a percentage of the monthly premium they collect from you. It has long been our position that we are not being paid by the insurance company or vendor, rather we are paid by you!
We believe that it is important that our clients know how much they are paying for brokerage and service fees. Only then can our client determine if they are receiving a fair value in exchange for their money.
Great Lakes Risk Management will always remain objective and impartial with regard to a particular carrier's contract. Commission structures may vary greatly between carriers, so there may be occasions when we will have to add a service fee when the carrier's standard commission structure is less than the amount we need to make a profit. This fee will either be built into the premiums charged by the carrier or will be billed outside of the contract. These fees will always be disclosed and are negotiable.
